John William Funderburg was born on September 18, 1950 to Cliff and Jean Funderburg. He passed away on January 8, 2012.

He graduated with the Class of 1969 from Richland's Columbia High School.

John's siblings are Donald, Michael ('66), David, Marvin and Mark ('75RIP) who passed away on December 9, 1984.

His father, Cliff, passed away September 28, 1987. His mother, Jean, passed away October 24, 2001.
