THOMAS DEAN "TOM" GORE ~ Class of 1969
August 7, 1951 - January 6, 1993

Thomas Dean Gore, 41, of Richland died Wednesday, January 6, 1993 at his place of business in Richland. He was born in Richland on August 7, 1951 and had lived in the Tri-Cities all his life.
Tom was the owner and operator of The Coin House in Richland for many years. He especially enjoyed all of his younger customers and knew most of them by name.
He graduated from Richland's Columbia High School in 1969 and from Central Washington University in 1974 with a degree in Business Adminstration.
He was a member of Richland Lutheran Church, the President of the Tri-City Coin Club and a member of Laborer's International Union of North America Local 348 in Pasco. He enjoyed people and all sports.
Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Gore of Richland; his best friend, Pam Newell of Richland; his sister, Barbara McCleary ('67) of Boulder, CO; his niece, Lori McCleary of Boulder, CO; Aunt Helen Kastner of Weyerhauser, WI; Uncle Walter Kastner (Kay) of Mira Loma, CA; and his many friends.
He was preceded in death by his 15-year old brother, Jim Gore ('75 honorary), on August 1, 1973.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on January 9, 1993 at Richland Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Tom Core, c/o Yakima Federal Savings and Loan at 1007 Jadwin Avenue; Richland, WA 99352.
