ALTON "CRAIG" KLUCAS ~ Class of 1969

Alton "Craig" Klucas was born July 19, 1951 in Richland to Alton and Bessie Klucas. He passed away in Vancouver, WA on July 14, 2021.

He was raised in Richland, the youngest of three children. He graduated from Richland's Columbia High School in 1969 and went on to graduate from Central Washington State College in Ellensburg. He was a millworker for Crown Zellerbach/Georgia Pacific until his retirement.

Craig enjoyed family, travel, exploring, and having fun. His sense of humor made him the life of the party.

Growing up, Craig enjoyed yearly trips to Minnesota to visit relatives and worked with them on their farms. Craig valued his lifetime friends immensely and talked endlessly about their adventures.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Bessie Klucas; and by his brother, Brice ('67).

Craig leaves behind his children: Anthony, Emma, Michael, and Richard Klucas; sister, Arlas ('63) (John) Nemnich; nephews, Tim and Ben (Erica) Nemnich; niece, Amy (Steve) Powers; and numerous family members.
