JACKIE EDWARD "JACK" MANDA ~ Class of 1969
December 8, 1950 - January 8, 1980

Jack Edward Manda, 28, died January 8, 1980 as a result of an auto accident near American Falls in which his wife was also killed.
He was born July 27, 1951 in Yakima to Jack and Florence Schana Manda.
Jack graduated from Richland's Columbia High School in 1969. He also graduated from Columbia Basin College.
Jack served in the Air Force for four years as security police, serving in Vietnam. He served as a policeman for the West Richland police force for eleven months.
He married Marcia Louise Beus on September 17, 1977.
Jack had been employed by Phillips Chemical of Finley, WA. At the time of his death he was employed by McGregory Fertilizer Co. of Lewiston, ID.
He had lived in Richland most of his life, moving to Lewiston in the spring of 1979.
Survivors include his parents of Richland and two step-daughters, Cary Ann and Stacy Lynn both of Lewiston.
Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian Church in Soda Springs.
Burial was at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland. Services were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home.
