DENNIS MICHAEL McLERRAN ~ Class of 1969

Dennis Michael McLerran was born to Thomas Dewitt and Gladys May McLerran on October 7, 1950. He passed away due to medical complications in Richland on April 11, 2015.

He enlisted in the U. S. Army at the age of 17 prior to graduating from Richland's Columbia High School with the Class of 1969. Dennis served three years and was stationed in Vietnam where he was exposed to Agent Orange.

Dennis married Kathy Williams ('70) on April 20, 1974. To this union their two sons, Sean and Dennis were born.

His second marriage was on January 21, 1984 to Elizabeth Fishchbach. To this union two children were born, Matthew "Daniel" and Courtnea.

Dennis loved to fish!

He worked in QA and was employed at several different nuclear plants across the country. He retired in 2015 from the City of West Richland.

Dennis is survived by his four children: Sean, Dennis, Daniel and Courtnea; his sisters, Patti McLerran ('67) and Candi McLerran Eatmon ('70); and his brother, James McLerran.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys, who died April 6, 2009 and by his father, Thomas, who passed away November 17, 2011.
