Following a courageous struggle with cancer, Marcia Lee Newton Denniston passed away peacefully at her home in Clackamas, OR on Saturday evening, April 14, 2001.

Marcia was born in Richland on June 27, 1951 and was 49 at the time of her death.

She graduated from Richland's Columbia High School with the Class of 1969 and later attended business school in Spokane.

Marcia married on June 18, 1983, moved to Boring, OR to make her home and commuted to Portland where she worked for Fred Meyer for many years.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, Denny Denniston; her son, Ben Denniston; her parents, Jim and Betty Newton; her brother, Jim Newton ('65); her sister, Sherry Newton Lalonde ('66); her extended family members, friends and business associates.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2pm on Tuesday, April 24, 2001 at St. John's Episcopal Church located at 2036 SE Jefferson in Milwaukie, OR.
