WILLIAM LYNN "BILL" STANDLEY ~ Class of 1969
August 24, 1951 - July 17, 2003



Bill L. Standley, 51, succumbed at his home from kidney cancer on July 17, 2003. He had been ill just since March.

Bill was born August 24, 1951 to Wanda and Richard Standley. He attended Richland schools, graduating with the Class of 1969 from Richland's Columbia High School.

He has been an employee of Sandvik Special Metals for nearly 30 years. He was a "bookworm" and enjoyed classic movies, golf and travels.

Bill is survived by his wife, Jerri; brothers: Richard Standley, Dennis Standley ('61) and John Standley ('66) all of the Tri-Cities; sons: Brent and Les Hutchins and Neil Standley; daughter, Nicole Hutto; and grandchildren, Nathan Hutto and Eden Standley.

To honor Bill's wishes, there will be no memorial services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bill's name made to the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House would be appreciated.
