Frances E. Powers, 68, of Richland died September 5, 2009 at Hospice at the Chaplaincy in Kennewick.

She was born on May 24, 1951 in California and lived in the Tri-Cities for 40 years.

Frances graduated with the Class of 1969 from Richland's Columbia High School.

She married Richard D. Powers on November 5, 1975. The marriage ended in divorce on June 10, 1977.

Frances was a construction secretary.

Hillcrest/Bruce Lee Memorial Center in Pasco handled the arrangements.
