Gene Coye - 9th Grade

Gene Coye, 46, of Spokane, died January 5, 1995, at his home. He was born in Richland on June 22, 1948.

Gene attended Richland's Columbia High School with the Class of 1968 and graduated with the Class of 1969.

He joined the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam.

He was self-employed with "Gene's Computer Consultants". He enjoyed steelhead fishing and camping.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, David O. and Verda H. Coye; and a brother, Larry D. Coye ('63), who died in 1978.

Survivors include his brother, LaVern "Vern" A. Coye ('56) and sister-in-law, Pam R. Randow Coye ('60); his sister, Shirley C. Coye DesChane ('58) and brother-in-law, Delbert J. DesChane ('57); as well as numerous aunts and uncles, and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held in Spokane on January 13, 1995.

His brother, Vern Coye ('56), died in 2005.
His sister-in-law, Pam R. Randow Coye ('60), died in 2006.
