MICHAEL TODD "MIKE" CRAWLEY ~ Class of 1969

Michael Todd Crawley, 36, of Cordova, Alaska died Sunday, July 15, 1987, in a small airplane accident in Prince William Sound, Alaska. Mike's plane crashed into a rocky cliff during a spotting mission while working for a fishing company.
He was born in Richland on December 17, 1950, to Dave and Betty Crawley.
Mike attended Christ the King School, Carmichael Junior High School and graduated from Richland's Columbia High School with the class of 1969. He lived in Richland until 1972.
He married Kerri Franklin on February 22, 1985, in Wenatchee. He owned a boat and fished off the coast of Alaska since 1975. The couple recently purchased the Lakeside Flight Service in Cordova.
Mike is survived by his wife, Kerri; son, David; and unborn child all in Cordova; parents, Dave and Betty Crawley in Richland; sister, Patty Crawley Schleitweiler ('74) in Bellingham; and brother, Chuck Crawley ('67) in Portland.
Services were held in Cordova. A remembrance get-together was held at Christ the King Church in Richland on August 1, 1987, following a memorial Mass at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to a fund for his children in care of the Mike Crawley Memorial Fund at the Richland branch of SeaFirst Bank.
